Literature Text

Emerging as a banquet
to stars that dine the   night, in vows  of etiquette.
We wore these   bows
as streams of delight that shined so  effortless,

through midnight boughs
that burn like ether...
to lead  you to  renown's
the long awaited touch.

Those oil-lamps
we fill  with sweet innocence,
as floods of vows
to be as whispers much.

A lithe, to the graceful
the ephemeral sunrise,
o' Lithium flower
you were an ambrosial fruit,

an oddly-shaped flower
autumnal, some rise
to caress the insubstantial anger
as a proposal of truth,

as words were means within them.
The long awaited touch. To dine with stars  and recherche the night with  romance,  to entwine elements as stars to hear there whisper. I used the metaphor of a banquet as to emphasis  the stars,  as guests, not merely people but infinite. To many god is infinite as is time but for me all good things have to end,  as the dwindling edge of what is.  To vow to be a certain way  in the boundaries of intrigue. We are these streams the shine and burn... till the end. This poem shows how fragile and short beautiful things are, ephemeral as in short-lived, for an instance but remembered for eternity.
